City Aikido and Swordsmanship of Los Angeles is recognized by the Aikikai World Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan through the United States Aikido Federation under the auspices of Yoshimitsu Yamada Shihan.

Chief Instructor
Kazuho Nishida Sensei, is a Shidoin with the United States Aikido Federation and Aikido Hombu Dojo, Japan. He is ranked Rokudan (6th degree black belt) and is a certified instructor in Muso Shinden Ryu Iaido, collectively studying both arts for the last 40 years.
