Welcome to City Aikido and Swordsmanship of Los Angeles.  Our dojo (school) was founded to promote and develop the martial art of aikido in Los Angeles and the surrounding cities. The dojo is located in the Brewery Art Colony near Downtown Los Angeles - minutes away from Glendale, East Los Angeles, Silverlake, Mid-Wilshire, West Hollywood, and just a short drive away from other surrounding Los Angeles communities.

City Aikido & Swordsmanship of Los Angeles is internationally recognized by the Aikikai World Headquarters through the United States Aikido Federation under Yoshimitsu Yamada Shihan, Chief Instructor of New York Aikikai.  We offer a full spectrum of classes for children and adults seven days a week.  City Aikido Los Angeles is also one of the few aikido dojos in the Los Angeles area that offer Iaido instruction. City Aikido Los Angeles provides high-quality aikido instruction with very affordable rates for everyone in the family.  Prospective students and visiting aikidoka are always welcome regardless of rank and affiliation.  We are open 7 days a week so stop by anytime!
